Even better! Or perhaps the government is creating secret weapons so that they can slowly conquer the world..? MWAHAHAHAHAH! PHEAR THE EBIL! ... Just kidding. I like that 'All powerful President' idea. It's kinda scareh.
So I was thinking about it - maybe it could be, like, the year 2018 or something, 6 years after 2012. Instead of the world ending on 2012 as was believed, select humans all over the world suddenly began to show signs of having abilities they'd never thought possible. Walking through walls, hearing thoughts. The selection of these people was at random; it was neither based on gender nor ethnicity. However, with the change came the hatred. Mutant-oriented hate crimes began springing up all over the world. A sort of futuristic Burning Times. The Government finally ordered that all Mutants must be taken from their homes and transported to 'friendly neighborhoods', which were a sort of small town surrounded by 20 foot high brick walls with barbed wire at the top (they were told it was for their safety). At first, everything was fine. But now people have begun to disappear. There are rumors of a secret lab where the government is testing these individuals: slowly killing them. All for a 'cure' that will be forced upon the mutant population once the time is right, and eradicate their special abilities forever. Why, you ask? People fear what they do not understand, and want what they cannot have.
Meh. Just came up with that off the top of my head.

Well.. If you want I could think about starting up a RP in The Literary Roleplaying Guild. Did you have a specific plot in mind or do you just want me to wing it?
What were you trying out for? Yeah. It was weird because I looked at the other profiles and mine was just as good as theirs, and yet he said it still was lacking. I don't think he wants more people to join.
Well, I'm a little bit lame. I really like the regular types of roleplays (Werewolves, Vampires, X-men, etc.) But I like to play them novel-style and really have a plot, instead of that lame, "O we lyke liv in da den and wer puppies, YAYZ!" bullshit. I'd REALLY be into an X-men RP (where we don't actually play the X-men characters but we're in their world, you know?)
I don't know. I'm pretty fast with thinking up Plotlines. Like right now I have a few of them: it'd be cool to play a Pirate RP - I've never done that before. *shrug* I think the reason I want to RP X-men is because I bought the first season of Heroes and have been watching it all week. LOL!
But I don't think it'd be fun (or continue on for that long) unless it had a nice, sturdy plot line.
I just joined one of my old guilds: it's called The Literate Roleplaying Guild. If we don't have a guild to Rp in, we could go there? It's a good Guild, if I remember correctly. And you have to be literate to join.
