What are you interested in, btw? You said in your thread that you care taking sign languages classes. Assuming that you're taking them in college, do they directly have to do with your major?
Well I have a boyfriend and he loves me and wants to marry me. I don't love him and I doubt that I ever will. I figure that my emotions are just too screwed up to fall in love with anyone, so I'll stick with him because he is a good guy and he really does care about me.
I have no idea what Cali culture is like. The only "culture" of VA that I know if is the sound of gunfire off into the distance every once and a while and broken windows everywhere you look. But that's probably just 'cause I wasn't in a great neighborhood when I lived there. We moved to MD maybe when I was five or six so I don't remember much.

Er, well I don't think you can become a computer scientist through those sorts of programs. As far as I know, I am going to need a PhD to qualify for most positions.
Perhaps. You also have to keep in mind that computer science is only one of several fields, not all of which have the same rate of growth, relating to computers/ information technology. It actually sort of surprises me that many people would be interested in pursuing such fields, given the amount of higher-level math/ science courses required.
I couldn't tell you. I would like to pursue a degree in computer science because, of course, I love computers, and moreover, it is an area that is expected to grow faster than average.
That my last name is more often than not pronounced wrong is probably the only thing amusing about it.
So, what is this mysterious degree you are working on which will almost certainly guarantee you employment? Don't worry, I've pretty much decided that I would like to be a computer scientist.
All right. Have more or less decided that I won't be pursuing a degree in medicine. Still, I need to find a job. Medical doctor or not, I want "Dr." in front of my name, trivial though it may seem.
