I ended up having fun ... my sister took me out to a late lunch/early dinner, then we kicked around the mall for a bit, since we couldn't agree on a movie. We ended up at Borders, and she bought me a book by an author we both like, then had lattes while we laughed over an astrology book. I was great ... and kid-free! lol Sad to say, I spent my birthday ditching my children ... but that was my present to myself: a day off from being Mommy ...
