About
I think I finally know what to put in here after having taken time to rediscover who I really am.Those of you who do know me, knew me on another account. What happened on that account disgusts me and this is now my sanctuary. I will eventually be going back to my old look and one other look I have come up with to go with this new account.
Think of this as a sort of returning to being myself after letting others shape who and what I was for far too long.
To those who don't know me or are wanting to know a bit more about me, hello c:
On gaia I'm known as Blood Red Countess but most know me as Sho, the nickname lovingly given to me by one of the most amazing people in the world <3
I'll honestly respond to just about anything though, so long as I know you're talking about me ;D
Now onto stuff actually about me, about me. This is where it gets difficult. I know what I want to say but have no clue how to go about it.
I'm not very hard to get along with, or at least I don't think but I am rather shy these days. Once you get to be close to me, you'll be lucky if you can get me to stop talking.
My interests include ... many many things. Thanks to Kei, I'm in love with WoW (even though I SUCK). I love music and live for it. I know that such things have been said by a lot of people but I really do mean it. Something about music just gets me going ways that other things can't. I'm a bit of a musician myself but I lack the creativity to actually compose or write anything on my own ... just yet. I do hope that that will change in the future.
I currently work at a dog grooming salon as a bather/dryer. I'm pretty sure that if you were to ask the dogs, most would say I'm some sort of monster who lives to torture them D; In the fall I will be going to school to train to be a groomer. I hope to use grooming as a sort of financial springboard to get back into a 4 year school. My dream is to become a Japanese teacher- to either teach in Japan or to teach Japanese in an English speaking country.
Japanese? Yes. Japanese. I've always had a love for the culture and in high school I was drawn towards the language. I got drawn into the whole anime/manga/jrock scene at that point in time and since then, it has been an important part of my life. Call me a weeaboo if you so desire. I used to try and defend myself or change so that others would "respect" me more. I'm done doing that. This is just part of who and what I am. If you're at all interested in what shows/series I watch/read I have links to my anime list and manga list ... somewhere on this profile page. I haven't quite decided just yet.
You should also check out my last.fm page if you're at all curious to see what exactly I listen to c:
Right now there are really only two important men in my life and they are my two dogs, Bear and Ducky. I've been having a run of bad luck with the other men in my life so I'm taking a break from seeking relationships and instead am focusing on deciding just what it is I want to do with my life, regardless of what my male companions feel about it.
I really am trying to become a stronger person. Those of you who do know me well, if you see me changing in a way that saddens you or that you disapprove of, let me know and I'll think on what you say. I'm trying to go from people-pleasing, bend-over-backwards-to-make-people-like-me "neko to a strong confident young woman. SOUNDS CHEESY, but I really would like to become better.
People I have the most humble respect for on this site are on my profile.
Mess with any of them, and I will let you have it.
I'm done being a pansy and I'm here to fight for those important to me.
Kei - Girl, I love you so much. I really, honest to god, don't know where I'd be without you. My sister, my waifu, my best friend ... whatever we are, I love you so much. I haven't always been there the best I could in the past but I want to prove to you that you did right by staying by me all these years. Through all the stupid stupid stuff I've done. And trust me, there has been a LOT of stupid stuff. But you already know that, doncha love?
Ira - Woman, you are without a doubt one of the most amazing women I know. We haven't talked much recently, which saddens me but when we did talk, I gained so much respect for you. You always seem so strong, so tough. I really really look up to you. Stay gorgeous <3
Geist - Every time Kei or I has needed someone, you always appear, almost out of nowhere and help clean things up. NOT SURE HOW YOU DO IT, but you do. I admire how you take care of those you know. I know that without you, Ira, and Kei, I definitely wouldn't still be around this place. Thank you so much.
