Oh, I see, I did note that Yami Yugi and Yugi both act extremely out of character sometimes, but I liked how Kaiba seems to have some semblance of a sense of humor and how Tea is mocked for her friendship speeches (because I really do hate them). Other jokes are a bit crass but I love the way he breaks the fourth wall and mentions nearly every inconsistency with continuity in the anime. I wish LittleKuriboh uploaded videos more frequently, though; I'd like to see his take on the Egyptian arc.
My goodness, I like the first series the best, too. To be fair, I haven't exactly watched all of the other spin offs, but I did try watching an episode of Zexal once and I was kind of perturbed by everyone having crazy hair. The Egyptian arc from the first series is too cool, and Seto Kaiba is awesome possum! Plus I love Dan Green's voice; it is incomparable to anyone else's.
