"It was a dark night, stormy and full of opportunity, when ~she~ appeared. I was just finishing up on a report for the local newspaper on my most recent capture of Ally Capone, the local crime lord. It had been a difficult job, but I had been just the man to do it. With no warning, the door crashed open and the hall light flickered out. Moments of deathly silence passed as, jerking me upright, lightning sillouetted the languid form of my 8:00 appointment.
