Hello Miss Gaia Winter 2011 delegates! This is the official announcement of the opening of the pageant! The first round is the Fantasy Costume competition. The avi you must submit needs to be a fictional character created by yourself with a story and description. You must be very creative, combine all your items, use Christmas/winter items, and make your avi look complete. Items that don’t belong to the theme will take off points from you. Remember it’s a pageant; your avi needs to look very beautiful. The deadline is September 11. Only 28 lucky contestants with the highest scores will get through the next round. Hi Miss Gaia Winter delegates! With 3 weeks for the pageant to start I shall start explaining the first round of the pageant so you are prepared for the 29th. The first round is the “Fantasy Costume” competition. In this round you should create a fictional fantasy avatar related to winter. You must be very creative and combine all of your items, and your avi must look complete. A description will also be needed BE CREATIVE. Items that don’t belong to the theme will take off points from you. Remember, it’s a pageant your avi needs to look beautiful. Be prepared, any doubts tell me.

Hello Miss Gaia Nations 2011 contestant! The time has arrived, and you will be able to watch all of this year’s delegates dressed in their national costumes and with their scores! The second round is the cocktail dress competition! You must dress your avi with a nice cocktail dress (a short dress), heels, jewelry, and a purse (bag). Remember to be very creative and to combine all the items you are using! Also, don’t forget the face of your avi, remember that it’s a beauty pageant you need to look beautiful and charismatic and everything counts! Don’t forget to make your avi fashionable. The deadline is January 2 and only 21 contestants will advance to the third round. Good luck and here’s an example for this round biggrin

Here’s an example for this round: Hi! I’m Miss Mauritius biggrin My costume represents the dense forest which makes up most of my homeland. The fishes and plants represent the vast diversity that my home country has, and the umbrella is for the rain! Since there’s several times in the year with high amounts of rainfall, that’s why my island is covered with rainforest. Also, since it’s a paradise island I included a beach to show that it’s a tropical country and that attracts a lot of tourists because of its warm weather. Thanks!
