                            This Saturday was an early morning for Felwyn, when the small elf rose from her slumber the light had been peeking through the curtains and highlighting the pale flesh of her exposed belly. Peacefully was the way to start the day and she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Despite Alpha not exactly being the quietest of teams, she still managed to get a good nights rest; after so long you grow used to the noise. Felwyn believed that she must have left their quarters at around 6am that morning, long before the others rose from their slumber; this happened nearly every second Saturday. Why? Community service, it wasn’t necessary but she took the time to care for the flowers planted throughout the grounds of the academy. There was nothing more peaceful to the young woman than enjoying the company of nature, her goddess sure had blessed them. Her morning consisted of watering, weeding and pruning wherever necessary as she sung quietly to the flowers she tended to. If she could not be back home caring for the less fortunate she could at least assist the plant life. Given the size of the academy, Felwyn had been at this from 6am to around 10am; there was a lot to be done. No doubt Felwyn was covered in mud, dirt and all sorts of organic matter; not that this bothered her in the slightest.

                            The remainder of her time had been spent filling some of the bird feeders, Felwyn wasn’t exactly sure if they were permitted on the academy grounds but she had thought it would be a good idea to liven up the place. It was worth getting in to a little bit of trouble if it brought a smile to the faces of others. Blue eyes turned up to the sky, she could feel some of the sweat from the heat of the sun burning at her pale skin and so she decided to return to her quarters. With a deep inhale of the fresh air, Felwyn turned on her heels now that she had completed what she had set out to do and made her way back to the Alpha quarters; humming a pleasant tune along the way.

                            As fleet-footed as she was, the trip didn’t take long and soon she found herself quietly entering their quarters. Without a single peep, the door opened as she just as quietly stepped in to the main hall. Her eyes caught sight of a single individual whose back was turned away from her and moving towards the window. A smile graced Felwyn’s lips at the sight of him, the light highlighting his head and shoulders made him look all the more handsome. Closing the door behind her and without a word Felwyn stepped away, crossing the room and headed towards the bathroom for a shower. He seemed to be in thought, and so Felwyn wouldn’t bother him while he enjoyed the rare silence of their home.

                            Closing the door, Felwyn shed her dirty clothing and ran the water, hopping in to the steaming shower as she quickly made work of herself. Scrubbing herself clean, she washed and conditioned her hair. Having hair as long as hers made bathing a bit of a nuisance as it took longer than it should have; about fifteen minutes. Standing in the shower, face turned to the faucet as the water poured down on her she gave a small sigh as she allowed herself to be soothed by the hot liquid and finally turned it off. Stepping out of the shower, she retrieved a towel and gave her hair a quick scrub down to rid herself of the extra moisture then wrapped the towel around her person. Gathering her clothes, Felwyn pulled the door open and flicked the light off. With a quick scan of the room, she gazed once more in the direction Seti had been in and retreated to her bedroom.

                            Tossing her dirty clothes in to the hamper, Felwyn dried herself and scrubbed as much of the moisture out of her hair as she could. Given how hot it was, the sun would dry her hair quickly if she stepped out in to the sunlight. But as she looked in to her mirror she could see the red kiss of sun on the tip of her nose and dusting her cheeks and shoulders. It seemed she acquired a sun burn, she should have known better than to stay out in the sun as long as she had. With a shake of her head, Felwyn slipped on a pair of panties and a loose fitting dress, the thin straps slipping slightly from her shoulders. Shaking her hair, she allowed her long locks to drape down her back before pausing when her stomach rumbled hungrily. With a sigh, she retreated to the kitchen and popped some toast in the toaster and retrieved an avocado, a tomato and mozzarella from the fridge. Turning around, she leaned against the counter as she looked to Seti, surely he must have noticed her by now; but she dare not disturb him just yet. The pop of the toaster startled the elf, causing a small squeak to leave her as she turned to finish preparing her avocado toast.

                            With a small bite of her lunch the back of Felwyn’s hand touched the teapot and with a satisfied smile poured herself a small cup of tea. With another bite of her toast, tea in hand she wandered towards the window and touched Seti’s back; her fingers pressing in to the spot between his shoulder blades. “Hello Seti…”, her voice was soft as to not disturb the peace. Coming around him, she stood at the other end of the window and sipped her tea as she too looked out of the window and in to the world, “I hope you slept well.”. Perhaps the idle conversation wasn’t necessary but he had been the first member of Alpha she had seen today and having his company was always a delight. “I made some avocado toast if you’d like to have a slice….”, looking over her shoulder to where her plate sat on the counter, tea coated her tongue once more as she gave a subtle sigh. “Have you seen the others today?”, perhaps he would have had a little more luck than she had this morning, “I’ve yet to really see Vulwin since the mission either….”. Her thoughts had briefly returned to the beautiful rose charm she had received. How the children could get their hands on something so beautiful when their condition was unfavourable was beyond her. Drawing her lips in to a fine line, her eyes caught sight of the wind rustling the leaves of a nearby tree and once more she felt at peace. Soon, in fact, in about a week and a half she would have to start thinking about preparing for her night of prayer; she could feel Valisilwen’s call.
