Hehe, it's okay. I like knowing what people think of me or guess what race I'm from. Trust me, I've heard a lot of crazy ones. Indian is the most common out there so far, but I'm not Indian though.
Actually, you've gotten it wrong. Ethiopians are definitely not arabs, and I do not know why this misconception is spread out in East Africa, especially in Somalia (yes, most people assume that we're mixed with arabs or caucasians only to estimate the lack of "blackness" we have). The thing is that people are not educated that africans are the most diverse even more than causcasians.
Oh okay. Haha. I was wondering if it's the area I'm in or something.
A lot of my friends haven't had the easiest time once high school ended.
One already joined the air force since he was already in an unbelievable amount of debt due to a checking scam and a suicide attempt.
The ambulance that picked him up and saved his life charged him $7,000 since he didn't have health insurance.
Which was ironic because he was trying to kill himself due to debt and the lack of opportunities he had.
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of cool people here and a lot of my friends have awesome parents.
But majority of them are kind of being prematurely aborted from their homes because their parents don't want to worry about them as they get older or just don't want their kid to become a free-loader.

If you know your ins and outs it's not too hard.
The only thing I would have to worry about is saving up the money to eventually buy a house when I'm old.
I'll be attending college so I'll get an education to get more money. etc etc
A lot of people in this area do it.
I know that I'm her responsibility.
But there's nothing I can do to change her perspective on things.
She's had too many children slack off and mooch off of her, so in my eyes, it's understandable that she feels the way she does.
I don't take it personally.
