....... Her name is Saiye, she's 19 years old, and has been living on a defunct colony for her whole life. As an orphan, she lived among the beggars and the forgotten, and soon learned about many different trades, including engineering and piloting of construction mechs,(til they ran out of fuel).

At the age of 10, she saved what was left of the colony by organizing the survivors and sealing off a section they could live in, almost losing her own life in the process. At 12, she had learned all of the different languages spoken there, and could communicate freely with everyone, becoming a great interpreter, and uniting the people's in the sect.

At age 14, Saiye had become the unofficial leader of the growing group, being leaned on by old and young alike for help in squabbles and territorial troubles, even naming newborn children or helping with the physical labor of reconstructing buildings for human use, being that most of the buildings in the area were war-torn or destroyed.

At 16, she led a group into the outer area they had been sealed from, and began to rebuild the section, adding it to the livable part. Within a few years, they were able to add in half of the colony that had previously been uninhabitable, thanks to Saiye's inventiveness and ability to improvise. The growing population now had a growing living space, and at 18, Saiye stepped out of the spotlight and let the colony thrive on it's own.

At 14, the colony,(which still did not show on radar) was visited by a lone man in a special mobile suit, a boy named Heero Yuy. He hid his gundam on this colony, but only Saiye was aware of it, and Heero was quite aware of her presence. After a chance meeting, Heero decided Saiye not to be much of a threat, seeing as she was still quite young. Saiye, on the other hand, really wanted to look at his gundam, and when she got too aggressive, the fight was on. Even Heero was amazed at her fighting skills, even though he eventually won, and granted her a peek at the inside of the cockpit. Happy just to have seen the interior, Saiye ran maddeningly back to her section, following the still-oxigenized maintenence trails. She'd left an impression on Heero, but he never voiced it, since she'd never spoken a word to him.

At 19, Saiye's colony was attacked by ruffians cruising through the dead colonies who'd by sheer coincidence picked hers. There was almost an armies worth of men, old White Fang rebels, who killed off many of the suprised inhabitants and took control of thier home. By the time Saiye was alerted to this, it was too late, and there was nothing she could do to help. Using a corresponding code stolen from Heero's gundam, she contacted through to Relena Dorlian, who sent the Preventors out to the local, and engaged in battle with the remenants of the faction.

While fleeing the battle raging on, the leader, Sogran, ran into Saiye's hiding place, and seeing what she had done, tried to kill her. The room caved in before he could get to her, separating them, but he still remembered her face, and after his escape, put a hit out on her, worth 20,000,000 credits.

After the faction remanents had been captured, Saiye was found and saved by one Lucrecia Noin, who used Saiye's knowledge of the colony structures to help rebuild a few colonies in that section to house the survivors of the war. Feeling like a good deed had been done, Noin took Saiye back to the terra-forming project with her, only to have an assassin almost strip Saiye of her life again. Upon strict orders from Zechs and Relena, Noin went to Earth to find the gundam pilots, to see if they would agree to bodyguard Saiye until the culprit was found.


Description...
Saiye is 5'8", is strong in build, and weights 135lbs. She has very white skin, coal-black long curly hair, and the most colorless foggy grey eyes, which haunt you when you peer into them. Since the destruction of the colony she spent most her life trying to rebuild, and the death of many of her friends, she has been mute, not speaking a word to anyone. Also, they have recently found that her eyesight is failing rapidly, as a result of poor nutrition and lighting, meaning she is very likely to go blind before the age of 22...

Demeanor...
Saiye is very quiet, but smiles more often than not. She seems to thrive in the presence of happy people, and may act goofy in certain situations, carrying over her love of dance and music. She also likes sketch animals, which fascinate her to no end, and play instruments like the guitar, though she has recently picked up the saxophone and the keyboard to play jazzy toons. Uknowingly, she also likes to sing, and is really very good at it, though no one has heard her yet. On the other side of her coin, she can be very intense, overdramatic, and a little crazy around people she may "dig"...but again, people not privy to her colonial life have yet to see this behavior...
