Greetings & Salutations, I'm SaDel. I'm here to introduce myself to the masses. Um... so let me say a few words about myself.

I'm 24. I'm happily married. I have four Furry Children, aka cats. I have 2 snakes, a hamster, a mouse, 2 oriental fire bellied newts, and 2 oriental fire belied toads. As you can imagine, I love animals. I'm sort of a "Tree-Hugging" animal nut.

My favorite food is sushi, sushami, and chinese. As far as work, I'm a homemaker, but I'm in the middle of writing a book series that I intend to get published when it's finished... or at least once I'm several books in...

As far as hobbies, I like to draw floorplans. I like an array of different crafts, like making witchy things or adding goth flaire to my plain store bought clothing. I'm currently creating a goth themed book of collages. My favorite artwork is usually of the gothic or fantasy persuasions. My favorite artists are Jasmin Becket-Griffith, David Delmare, and Amy Brown. I also enjoy playing Vampire: the Masquerade. (I'm obsessed with Vampires.)

I'm a night person with interests that are kind of dark. I like to get into profound discussions about death, suicide, religion, sex, drugs, and other taboo or controversial topics. My style is mostly goth or punk. I like all genres of music. I spend a lot of time reading books about the occult, paranormal, wicca, witchcraft, satanism, vampires, and so on.

If people didn't talk about those kind of things, however will we be able to settle our differences when people are afraid or uncomfortable talking about what naturally occurs everyday? In the case of more taboo subjects, however can something be done about/for/against them unless people are willing to discuss it? I personally think the same way, I just don't know many who want to talk about it.

How to Customize your profile

IMPORTANT: Instead of the (parenthesis) as seen below, use [brackets].

Log into Gaia and view your profile. At the top right of the page you should see an option "Edit My Profile Layout". Click it, to bring up the editing tool.

Click on "Theme" to change your background image using PhotoBucket. This is the easiest way, in my opinion.

TO CHANGE THE TITLE TEXT and COLOR OF EACH "CONTENT" BOX:
With the editing tool open (see above) each "content" box should have the word "edit" at the top right of it. Click it. Now you can change the titles. Change the font color by putting this tag in front of the text: (color=red) Change the word "red" to whatever color you want. Green, Yellow, Blue, Pink, etc. Put this tag at the end of the text: (/color) You can change almost all of your text in this way. The exception is the "About Me" content box. You will have to change that text in account settings. Follow these instructions to get there.

Hover your mouse arrow over "My Gaia" at the top of the page. When the drop down menu appears, click on "Account" at the very bottom of the drop down menu. Then click on the "About Me" option that will be in a list on the right side of the screen. Then you can edit the colors of your paragraphs using the tags that I mentioned above.

If you want to change other things, you will be getting into more complicated editing. To do that you have to go to the profile "Theme". To get there, Hover your mouse arrow over "My Gaia" at the top of the page. When the drop down menu appears, click on "Account" at the very bottom of the drop down menu. Then click on the "Theme" option that will be in a list on the right side of the screen.

Using this you can over ride your theme to make more complicated changes, but to do this you will need to educate yourself on BBCode and possibly even the number codes for colors. You can visit url="http://www.visibone.com/color/hexagon3x.html"]this website to see a hexidecimal color chart. You will have to figure out BBCode on your own. I don't remember where I went to figure it out for myself. Sorry. But I hope I've helped a little.
