Kefka is the greatest villian of all time in the FF world. Sadly, there are no good profile themes about him (Or just VI for that matter), so I went to the next best one....IX. Here are 5 reasons why he's the best villian....
1. He speaks the truth.
2. In canon, he causes the Apocalypse and destroys over half the populous, bombarding the world with 'Light of Judgement.' Not to mention a small scale poisoning....of a city.
3. Admit it, when you saw this scene for the first time in Japanese, you were like 'Oh God...those awful memories of how evil he was, his laugh, and how difficult his final boss were are in 3D NOW!'
4. His entire tower's motif is Dante's 'Divine Comedy.' At the bottom is where you meet demons of monstrous size, representing Hell, and Lucifer. In the middle, where robots abound, representing human ingenuity and how the intelligent but faithless were damned to a mediocre existence in Purgatory. Finally, the top tiers represent Heaven, were he rests in the lap of 'Lady,' a representation of Michaelangelo's 'Pieta.' The Warring Triad is also a representation itself. Demon is Lucifer, Fiend is a representation of Purgatory, and Goddess is God. There are also relations to Greek and Japanese mythology.
5. He becomes God of Magic by absorbing Esper after Esper. When he is finally defeated, after a long, gruelling battle, he takes all Magic with him. With this, he is the only Final Fantasy villian to have succeeded in his plans, and ruled for over a year.
