Self-indulgent tripe
Where does one begin to explain about oneself? I'd generally say that I am a rather boring individual, most of my time is spent reading or writing, both of which I enjoy thoroughly. I intend to pursue writing as a career eventually. I'm young enough to enjoy life but old enough to know better, not that that has ever stopped me before. Just because you know better doesn't mean you'll listen to what you know, right? (Look at the LHC!)My favorite authors include, but are not limited to and are in no particular order, Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Aldous Huxley, Chuck Palahniuk, Irvine Welsh, Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Stephen King, Anne Rice... The list can go on forever.
I'm not so much into television or film anymore, but that's not so much of a loss considering what Hollywood as offered up lately.
If you haven't noticed I am a very opinionated individual and I can be slightly annoying and obnoxious, as well as completely mental in between bouts of complete coherency and lucidity. But such is the spice of life.
I do enjoy anime, and Japanese culture, I'm just not a fan of people who take it too far or too seriously. My favorite anime/mangas include Battle Royale, Fate/Stay Night, Zombie-Loan and Black Cat. But again, the list can go on for a long time.
I love mythology, a lot. 'Nuff said.
Did I mention that I am a writer?
I wish I could think of more to say, but there's really not a lot to say in an 'about me' section. It's more fun to learn through interaction isn't it?
I do hope that you find something interesting about me, I like making friends and talking with people, especially of varying opinions and beliefs and mentalities and so on and so forth. I'd like to think I'm pretty open-minded.
