Scarlet laughed and took another drink of her port. "Yes, we musn't deprive the world from your handsome visage. If anything, your admirers would become murderous towards me....which in the end might make for fun sport..."she added with a feigned pondering tone. "I was in Hungary for the Ministry, really mostly librarian work and text retrieval. Budapest has an amazing collection of medieval Magyar works that are needed for a current study. They sent me to make sure the texts were procured without any "unnecessary" issues along the way, " she said bemused and letting a small prideful smile show upon her face.

Scarlet held the port handed to her and took a sip thoroughly enjoying the complexity of the favor. " Hungary was a bit chilly in winter, but some of the locations I had to go to could only be accessed through crossing frozen parts of water." She took a drag from the port, relaxing further into the chaise. " It must be annoying to be continually persecuted upon leaving the house. Would you ever consider using a spell to slightly change some of your facial characteristic in another person's eyes? Nothing would actually change, but would you would appear different to the naked eye of your enemies," she explained with concern in her voice. " But then you could also, enjoy the more reclusive life, and I know you're not lonely with all your admirers," she added with a knowing smile.

" I would adore a drink," she said watching him thoguthfully as he concocted his own beverage. "My holidays were pleasant, if not well needed. I traveled a bit for work in Hungary, and decided to stay to visit some friends for a week while there. Overall it was a productive trip," she added with a sly smile on her face. " Did you travel anywhere or venture away from your abode?"

Dear father,

Not that you already have enough problems chasing after Rabastan and what not but mother is now determined to tell Grandfather about her existence as well. Not to sound like a tattle tale but I though you should know the current situation. I'll try and stop or at least delay mother as much as I can because I imagine all hell would break loose if she succeeded. One a side note, is there any reason I should not trust Rookwood? Just curious. Take care and be careful.
