Nice! Yeah, at first I was just going for whichever ones I could get, but then I realized that I actually HAD 1st Gens of almost all of them, and the two or three I didn't have were low enough, and I had enough to spare, that I could "trade up", more or less! Which was nice. I think in one case, I actually sold the 4th Gen I had for more than I paid for a new 1st Gen; I wish I could remember which one it was! xP
Mercury's Moon's price has annoyed me since its release, though ... the inflation on that puppy has been insane! xP Same with most of the companion items ... I think the only one I've actually managed to get so far is Tomo's Basket ...

Just saw your sig, and your current quest. Funny thing is, I've been collecting EIs since they first came out, and actually have ALL the current EIs in at LEAST 1st Gen ... with the exception of Secret Retreat, much to my intense dismay! xP I was able to buy them for a long time, but lately my funds have been ... low, and I've been unable to support my habit buy GC.
I just had to pop over, though, at seeing another user on the same collection quest I've been on for so long ... I thought I was just being a dork with it, since there's actually several that I either don't, can't, or have never used ... but I won't get rid of them (curse my inner pack rat!), because that would disrupt my collection! lmao
I DON'T have all of the "companion" items, though, such as Mercury's Moon (high on my dream list since it came out!) ... can't even BEGIN to afford them! lol
