1st You go to shop .... Under shop there will be an option Trade.... Click on trade and put your friends name and start a new trade... Then click on your gold and put in the amount you want to donate.

2nd.... I'm just as poor .... I used up lots of gold creating this avatar .... sweatdrop so I can't donate at the moment... Sorry
