Hello, my name is Remus Lupin, former Defense Against the Dark Arts Instructor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am, as many of you well know, a werewolf, although I do hope you will not judge me by the actions of my peers.

It's been tough making ends meet recently thanks to the strict anti-werewolf legislation upheld by the Ministry of Magic. In fact, I haven't been able to hold a steady job since I left my post at Hogwarts, unless you count my work for the Order, that is.

Any donations to a poor outcast would be most appreciated, but please, do not feel obliged to sympathize with my plight if you fear my kind. With people like Greyback terrorizing the wizarding community it's easy to understand why no one invites me to their dinner parties. If it weren't for Tonks I think I'd be quit desolate. Especially after all the deaths and tragedies of the past two years.
