about affording all that "cool stuff," well, I've been on Gaia since Feb '04. That's a looong time to acquire gold and items. some i did get via donation letters, but for the most part, a lot of posting and wordbump was done...

well, there are alot of tweens on the site, but many of them talk big and are brats because it makes them seem older. people can get really bitter in the forums especially.

strange enough, but i joined gaia for the art arena, kinda along the same lines. back then the site was mostly about the arena and forums anyway. good luck on your arts. you going to school for it, or what?
