About

"What is good? All that heightens the feeling of power in man, the will to power, power itself. What is bad? All that is born of weakness. What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome."
~Friedrich Nietzsche, The Antichrist

FIVE IDIOSYNCRASIES

1) I have difficulty discussing problems with others, and I rarely like to admit when I do not know something, but I will if I feel it is to my benefit. I like to take charge, and to be in charge of things, and to view potential problems as challenging rather than threatening, thus boosting the potential for optimism.

2) I do not believe in God, nor do I approve of Christianity or any other modern religion. I see it as a crutch and an inability to deal with reality, however, I will do my best not to judge others based on their beliefs, so long as they do not judge me for my lack thereof. I have friends from many religions, including Christianity, Buddhism, Paganism, and Islam. I try my best not to hate others, though xenophobia often shows its ugly head, and for that I am sorry.

3) I am fairly traditional in courtship styles, though I do understand to an extent what women look for in a relationship (Of course, all people are different so I never know). I write poetry and express affection creatively, and find tales of chivalry to be, while idealistic, overtly charming. If only life were more like a fairy tale.

4) I am a guy who wears makeup. I am not gay, nor androgynous. Not metrosexual, either. I just like it because it brings out my eyes and face better. I just wear eyeliner and a little concealer, so its not like I'm going out as a full-fledged drag queen. It really can do a lot for a guy, if used properly and on the right person.

5) My primary talent seems to be writing. I love literature, having grown up on fantasy novels, notably the Tolkien series, and later Rowling. I love Kafka, Nietzsche, Marx, Kant, and philosophy in general. As previously stated, I write poetry and have begun work recently on a ten-minute play about the death of Leon Trotsky.
