We never wrote the names on ours so I don't know what the purpose of naming them was xD I had Jimbo all three years. Kinda jealous you got four-our school only started marching freshmen after we left.

Our coaches used to be in guard in various drum and bugle corps. I can't remember which ones though.
They knew the tricks but they'd work you right into the ground lol
Our coaches refused to do sabers.

We all wanted sabers though, but if the boss ladies say no, there's not a whole lot you can do to go against it.
Our grade was the first allowed to buy our rifles off the school though.
We were apparently a really bonded group and Julie knew how much it meant to us (we all kept the same rifle all three years and our first year we were told to name them lol)
I had to buy mine from the school so there's no way they're getting it back xD
Did you guys ever do any saber work?
The college I went to first had a really sucky guard and it was a new show every week sort of deal so I didn't go for it.
The one I'm at now doesn't even have one ;-;
