YES GARY OLDMAN IS SO DANG SOLID EVERY TIME. And so quotable, lol! And yeah, 100%, media literacy and understanding the difference between taboos and storytelling versus glorification of a situation are something that seems to be getting lost over time. Important to be able to distinguish, for sure. I can find intrigue in problematic characters and storytelling, the human psyche is a lot to explore, especially within the safety of the realm of fiction, so long as it's not promoting certain messaging.

Aw, sundews are cool! I've never owned one but they look very neat!

It's amazing what they can hybridize, isn't it? Stuff that has a lot of strong points all in one place. I've also got a tiny Mammillaria cactus that is a sweet lil indoor friend, and I have various herbs and green onions out in the garden.

Yeah I remember their relationship getting weird towards the end, but also thinking that a kid that lived the life she did, it made sense how she reacted as a character and was thankful Leon chose not to take advantage of her >_> Intriguing character development and a lot of morally gray territory as a whole for sure. (And heck yes, loved 5th Element and the soundtracks for both too!)

I do have some dream plants I'd love to have!

Phalaenopsis Schilleriana is a variety that occurs in nature, which is more rare to see because most orchids available for purchase are hybrids. This one has a light fragrance, a unique spotted leaf pattern, can get pretty big, and the ability to put out some truly incredible flower shows. Example

Phalaenopsis Asian Coral is a really lovely moth orchid hybrid that I will just have to buy if I ever see it for sale in the shops whee Example

I'm hoping one day I'll get a Jewel Orchid too. These are much more prized for their leaves than for their blooms. Here is Macodes Petola, which is one of the varieties I'm considering: Example

And finally--my dream that will never come true whee owning a Cymbidium orchid. They are so gorgeous but they are also really REALLY big, and the climate I live in is not good for them crying I would have to buy specialized equipment to keep it alive and get it to bloom and I just can't really justify the expense. Still, here's a nice picture of Cymbidium Golden Edge Fu Niang, a variety I might buy if I win the lottery (I don't play the lottery razz ) : Example
