"Uhm..." Were she was before Gotham was of course something she couldn't tell. Her life had been all over the place. "I've always been in Gotham... For as long as I can remember." She smiled and scratched her cheek, "Pretty lame huh? I'm just one of those people who don't get lucky enough to leave their town." She glanced away and mentally scolded herself some more for sounding like such a cheasy schoolgirl. Gotham wasn't exactly the proper setting for 'cheasy hometown schoolgirls' but it was all she could come up with.

((Probably,but the way I play jinx is she's more of a loner and tends to hang around with the older and more mature villans as opposed to the immature teenage ones with no big goals.))

A grin spread across her face as she walked with him, "Yeah. I guess so." 'Metropolis?' She thinks to herself biting her bottom lip. 'Okay, too weird. Maybe it isn't a coincidence...' "So... What's it like in Metropolis?" Feeling slightly suspicious she glanced at him again, up and down.

She raised a brow before taking his hand and shaking it. "Artemis. Nice to meet you Kent. You said you were new here??? ...I'm actually new to this school too." She was still pretty curious, but she didn't suspect he had any connection with the supers. For all she knew it was just coincidence.

She shifted her bag to rest on her hip as she pursed he lips a bit. "Oh, I'm not talking about someone who stays in Gotham. You guys could totally pass off as related..." It didn't stir her mind until she actually thought about it, what were the chances of someone else looking like Superboy of all people... Besides Superman of course. Then a smirk spread across her face. "You also totally look like Superman." She thought it'd be funny to compare him to the oh-so-wonderful man of steal.

Artemis flinched slightly from being caught staring. She blinked and looked away embarrassed, she of all people should know better than to let her guard down like that. "Augh I'm sorry, I didn't..." She glanced back at him and raised a brow, "It's just you look a lot like a... uh guy I know." Mentally she scolds herself but she doesn't show it. Artemis always came off as a confident individual.

The transfer to Gotham Academy never rubbed Artemis the right way. She had to constantly remind herself she was doing this for her mom but sometimes the behavior of the kids at the school made her want to jump out a window. This was a school were rich academically genius students went, she was from Gotham North. She missed her school and friends greatly.
Luckily school was over and she was ready to make her way out, she'd done a good job so far of being 'invisible' to the other students. Tightening her pony tail she shoved her way past the kids in the front school yard. Her eyes soon fix on a green hoodie and a familiar character inside it, but then again she couldn't recall meeting him. He kind of looked like.... 'Superboy?' She thinks to herself, not realizing she had been staring.
