To those that read my avatar contestant description I apologize, the story had to be edited for length purposes. I got so into it, that it was far past 1000 charcters. Oops! Well I copied it and am posting it here on my profile. Hope you like it.
Vampyres are curious creatures, even to themselves. Yet, to make things curiouser, some even hunted their own. Whether it be for sport, pay or something to do on a dull day, you can never say for sure, without direct contact.
However, one such paradoxal individual, has his epic adventures writ upon ancient tomes. Found buried in an underwater grotto, these tomes were encased in hand-carved marble shells, somehow sparing them from the immense weight of the waters. These tomes' cases varied in colour, size, and design. Each told of ellaborate, extraordinary stories of a singular (albeit unnamed) individual, who lived an unnaturally extensive life. This life was that of hunting the supernatural beings known as the nosfaratu, or more commonly, the vampyre.
Unlike most hunters in this particular catagory, the most famously known would be Abraham Van Helsing (the legendary Dracula's foe), this hunter, it was writ about was actually a vampyre himself. Many a decade, he slayed these creatures without remourse. He carried a complete arsenal of weaponry about him including; bladed gauntlet, a cross, a sword embued with the blessings of the Vatican Itself, and two other very mysterious items.
The first of which it desribes as an oversized book he kept at his side, the writers assumed it held ancient magicks insribed upon it. The other was a strange look metal object he held in a single hand, and with a simple squeeze of his hand, a magnificent flame shot from it, to help destroy his enemies.
The last of the tomes to be inspected, had a separated page in it that had fallen out as they opened its scrolls. It had but a single paragraph srcawled upon it that trailed off at the end. It seemed to be the ravings of a madman, broken and fragmented sentences, at different angles accross the page. Most was illedgible, but what wasn't, mentioned something about the scribe witnessing the hunter manifesting a pair of balances adorning over his shoulders. From there it trails back to srcibbles and ink splotches. The last thing on the page, in blood, was that of the infinity symbol, but it appeared to be broken....
