I was thinking: If Shinobu had bodyguards, how would they be? I came up with a story of how the promise to protect her was made. (page 13-14 of the manga)

Then I wrote one part of the story, then another and another and now we got what we got so far.

I also have the ending part written, all is left is the events leading up to the ending.
