Oh, hello there. You want to know things about me? Well, I go by Plasma Desmata on this site, and +10 nerd points if you can figure out where my username comes from. I'm not giving you any hints.
I'm a senior in college (or university, depending on what part of the world you're from), majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. Sí, hablo bastante bien, y siempre me encanta mejorarme si quieres hablar conmigo. <- AKA, yes, I can speak the language, and there's a sample, so don't pester me about it. >.< After I graduate, I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life, but I'm assuming it's going to involve me, a lab, and whatever research catches my eye. Possibly teaching in the future, but WAY in the future.
Aside from "female" and "biologist" I don't really do labels.
For example, I'm 'bisexual' until they come up with a word for 'girl who really doesn't care what the plumbing looks like as long as there's an emotional connection.' Oh, and add to that 'girl who will probably be in the closet in the real world as long as she lives, thanks to the fact that her father is a pastor.' I don't know what he would do if I were to come out, and I really don't want to know.
As another example, I'm a Methodist, for lack of a better word to describe my religion, and preferably a word in a sect that doesn't involve Christians because most of the ones I have met so far in my life terrify me. I didn't realize that "love one another as I have loved you" was such a difficult concept.
On a lighter note, let's talk about roleplaying. It's the reason I'm on this site, really. I highly recommend you join one of the ones I am in now, they're fifty-twelve different kinds of awesome.
