ok, then i won't eat it, cuz i never wanna see you cry!! That sounds like quite a night you had, that frog must've been really ugly....cuz Mick Jagger is not a handsome man!!
You 'should' start writing again! And I'd be happy to give you some feedback. But know that I am one to tell the truth. Because I believe that the truth is more productive than the lie or white lie ^^
If you do base the short stories around one character, that would be awesome! It'd be like a mini series ^^
Just now I spent around 2 hours on my novel fixing up some background story and I finished it! Just hope I didn't miss anything because everytime that history was mentioned, I had to make sure that it fits with my new one hahahahaha
Well, our economy sucks right now. Wall street has a lot of problems with the dow jones going down and down. Gas prices are bad. But otherwise anything else is ok.
lol we don't have to talk about you, but I thought I was being one of those guys who keep blabbing about themselves XD
That's great that you're exam story was used! I always wanted that to happen one day to me. Which is why I'm thinking of writing an excellent short story that might even make it into global popularity ^^
Yeah the stories do tend to reflect the author in some way. But good authors are able to break away from that and create some original and distinctive characters. Right now, my main character is based roughly on me. However, one thing I'm concerned about is character development in my novel. Because not only do characters have to develop, they have to act differently as well. I mean if my main character has one personality in the beginning but suddenly it changes in the end, then I wouldn't be a good author hahahaha
Hey if you ever write something, like a fairy tale, let me read it, I haven't read fairy tales for AGES!
Of course if you feel like I might steal your work that's ok, you don't have to send it to me hahahaha
I actually have this idea for a horror short story based on a story my friend's brother made... but not sure if I have the 'right' to write it >_>
If you're having trouble, maybe you can try splitting the novel into various parts. Like instead of seeing it as a large novel, see it as multiple short stories that connects to each other (if that actually makes sense)
I thought about my last scenes carefully and I managed to avoid a cliche ending. Even though this is a risk since sometimes going out of conventional stories tend to "upset" the audience, as an aspiring writer, I want to be different so that my novels aren't just another in the batch ^^
I'm so close to finishing this I can taste it XD
Lol I feel like we've been talking about my novel for ages! What about you? Don't want this convo to just be about me XD
