Regardless of the dwarf you choose, you still have to head into the deep roads and fight to find Branka. What you are describing sounds like... Broodmother. A b***h of a jiggling monstrosity. High Def F-ugly if we ever spotted one. My strategy for fighting her. ensure that all of your characters are focused on her except your healer. Then when the darkspawn snow up, have your highest damage dealer go after then while the rest of your characters fight Broodmother, and take them out as fast as you can. Maybe ignore the archers on the side, because the battle ends with her death. Keep your finger on the button that will let you switch between party members swiftly, so you can administer health poultices quickly. That's about how I always do it, that and usually leaving the deeproads till the last thing I need to do. I also usually have elf rogue warden, or human warrior warden.
Yeah, I beat 13. Orphan is a pain in the a**, mostly cause of circumstance. And Assassins creed II is going well. I'm close to the end of that one as well. I was codex page hunting last night and have that all filled out.... Also, I have long unlocked Altair's armor, and have his sword with me.
