oh I'm doing fantastic. I'm so glad things are feeling a bit better. I've been playing more video games. Epic gave out a free copy of that hogwarts game. Rowling would hate it. It's very accurate to the books and lore pus it's trans inclusive. Finished that after like a month, (I'm not a completionist I just like taking my time with a good game), and decided to do a playthrough of cyberpunk 2077. I finished it in december 2000. the patches and stuff they've added since make it feel like an entirely new game. I'm kind of awestruck. Everything runs smoother, there's a lot of things they promised before launch that are now in the game, and the graphics pop harder somehow. I also forgot how long it took to get through the intro. Like 3 days of gaming. Valentine's I'm spending marathoning rom-coms with my girlfriend as soon as she finishes a few tasks. It's going to be awesome!

yeah I am totally lucking out. it snowed a tiny bit last night when I was asleep but then when I went for my walk it was 40 degrees and the snow was melting and the sun was out and I was just in this amazing mood. I'm a generally happy person. I have a friend in south dakota who's mad at how spoiled I've been by this weather. It only got out of the negatives there this week and at night it's still close to zero. So that's fair. But yeah I'm not a really wintery person. It's going to rain this weekend. I love the rain, as it's not snow, and it's not drought. Those are the two things I can do without.

I hate losing friends though I've lost a bunch over the years. But yeah never let anyone treat you like you're less than. Very telling that if she couldn't s**t on you she had no use for you. Sorry that happened but glad you're not getting crapped on.

oooh I did not know that was going around again. uh just normal stuff. watching some monty python movies with my girlfriend tonight gotta hit the grocery store this morning for food and snacks. oh my sister and nephew are coming into town monday. looking forward to that.

I decided to cancel christmas this year. The weather is going to be crappy, the family isn't getting together because of the weather, and I don't like the whole buying or getting presents thing so I've skipped that bit for the last long while. I did host a christmas movie marathon with friends yesterday and it was great. But now I just gotta power through until next year.

oh that is sad. I'm working at keeping the spark alive with my girlfriend. She's been having some hard times and shut me off a bit but I love her so I made sure she knew that while I was giving her space I was keeping space open for her and she's finally starting to get back to wanting to be with me more. Worth it. She's amazing but both of us tend to want to deal with our problems alone, accepting that is hard.

I'm doing good. my eye infection is finally gone. I got to sleep like a normal person instead of trying to find a way to sleep so my ears wouldn't close up and spread the infection. Awww is breaking up good news or bad news? only 17 days to halloween they need to switch them to spirit new years after halloween is over biggrin

yeah they switched me to united this year too. I had blue cross. Luckily my dental is through another group that the dentists seem to take.

dang. worth it to keep your teeth healthy though but dang. I had to go an hour and a half to get fitted for a partial because that's the only place that took my insurance for that, but luckily my normal dentist is a 15 minute walk away. I wish we were a real country where everyone pays like 4% taxes and everyone gets to see doctors etc. But it's hard. Only every other English speaking country has it.

Oh man I lucked out in 2020 we got a new dentist that takes my insurance no one takes and they're really good. but yeah I see the catch 22 with the needing to see a doctor about medicine about handling the anxiety of seeing a doctor.

I have a bottle of lactose pills I take along when I go out, and keep some ibuprofin and a bottle of acetaminophine at home in case I need pain relief. But nothing prescription.

yeah they switched over to walgreens and that was a massive s**t show. literally they'd call to say a thing was in it wouldn't be in and then they'd say they didn't even have a prescription for that and my dad needed to call the doctor to have them make a new one, even if they'd filled the prescription and the label said 6 refills. on like 5 different meds for my mom and him. They moved their business to safeway and now they get their stuff like they're supposed to.

hooray chaos! oddly our mall is doing pretty well it has a winco on one end (the best grocery store) and lots of restaurants. denny's a hotpot place a little bar that does really good pulled pork and smoothies, a computer shop that does repairs that everyone swears by, cosmetics and clothing stores. It's a pretty okay mall. I am sad that the rite aid closed though. the pharmacists there knew my parents scrips backwards and forwards.

yeah ours was like next door to joanne's then joannes got the old bed bath and beyond slot and expanded a ton then the next month all the joannes closed down. it's almost like every store in the mall scene of blues brothers is cursed.

lol my brother and I were talking about how cool spirit halloween is today. We were watching harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban. I was all "I wonder where you get those candles shaped like human spines" my brother "Amazon? Oh or maybe spirit halloween." me "Spirit halloween rocks." brother "Yeah I love that place."
