yeah you'll have to commit a crime to get to ride in a police car again. Even when I'm absolutely miserable, putting my headphones on and walking makes me feel so much better. Having a hurt foot was the worst. it was basically a cascade failure that took over a month to get my foot and ankle working again without me limping and sweating from pain.
Oh no. Remember depression isn't forever it does get better eventually. my foot has healed a bunch still not perfect but the fact it works and I can get back to walking miles and miles with just a bit of a twinge and very little limp is just awesome to me. hope you feel better soon. Hooray second ride along. how'd that go?
no worries. things have been interesting. my right foot decided to have a cascade of failures that I'm finally on top of, though there was a whole lot of limping. oh I have a d&d group starting up towards the end of next month. So that'll be nice.
hooray annie oakley! (only pretty) Good job at winning the shooting competition. Today I went along with my dad and an old family friend to Walla Walla to visit the VA so the friend could get his new hearing aids and have them fitted and adjusted. and we had this amazing lunch beforehand.
whole trip took about 9 hours left at 10am got back at 7pm. My dad made an appointment for himself while we were at the VA and luck of luck someone cancelled one next week just before my dad got to the window. so we're going again next thursday. Yup you'll definitely find someone to spoil you. Or the cop thing will come with comp time and benefits and you'll be able to treat yourself.
nice. been ages since I've been to the range. I used to be a really good shot. Luckily I'm not the sort of person who disney is made for. I'm more the type of person that science and history lectures are designed for. I like make-believe when I'm stuck at home, but I'm not going to travel to a second place to pretend I'm in a third place. The day I get to denver we have reservations to this really historic restaurant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMwjKXgwfW8 That's pretty much my nerd level.
oh I've been awesome. I'm finally catching up on my shows It's been really nice out so I've gotten in so many walks. and I've got a good handle on normal life stuff at the moment. next month I get to fly to colorado to watch 3 cats and a tortoise while my sister and her fam go to disney world.
hooray! glad you got the job *hugs* life is good. I've got a jazz band to listen to tonight and perhaps have a fancy dinner while I'm there. I'm sure you'll pass the background check no problem.
hooray money! lol I went and mined some rare ores made my fighters some electricity proof armor and then gave that dragon the old razzle dazzle. Apparently I was supposed to wait until I leveled another 3 or so levels but ain't nobody got time for that.
well inquisition is fun but it feels a bit grindy. you gotta do one thing in order to do another etc etc. I'm like 50 hours in and was getting cocky then a dragon just handed me my a** so easily I am not even planning on a rematch until a lot more grinding.
fun. I had a whirlwind week of several low parts of town flooding my sister visiting a series of holidays. and then getting really into dragon age inquisition. I hope you score that land.
oh I'm doing fantastic. I'm so glad things are feeling a bit better. I've been playing more video games. Epic gave out a free copy of that hogwarts game. Rowling would hate it. It's very accurate to the books and lore pus it's trans inclusive. Finished that after like a month, (I'm not a completionist I just like taking my time with a good game), and decided to do a playthrough of cyberpunk 2077. I finished it in december 2000. the patches and stuff they've added since make it feel like an entirely new game. I'm kind of awestruck. Everything runs smoother, there's a lot of things they promised before launch that are now in the game, and the graphics pop harder somehow. I also forgot how long it took to get through the intro. Like 3 days of gaming. Valentine's I'm spending marathoning rom-coms with my girlfriend as soon as she finishes a few tasks. It's going to be awesome!
I know you haven't seen my earlier response. I just wanted to let you know you're awesome and the world is everchanging. I hope it gets better in my lifetime.
yeah I am totally lucking out. it snowed a tiny bit last night when I was asleep but then when I went for my walk it was 40 degrees and the snow was melting and the sun was out and I was just in this amazing mood. I'm a generally happy person. I have a friend in south dakota who's mad at how spoiled I've been by this weather. It only got out of the negatives there this week and at night it's still close to zero. So that's fair. But yeah I'm not a really wintery person. It's going to rain this weekend. I love the rain, as it's not snow, and it's not drought. Those are the two things I can do without.
I hate losing friends though I've lost a bunch over the years. But yeah never let anyone treat you like you're less than. Very telling that if she couldn't s**t on you she had no use for you. Sorry that happened but glad you're not getting crapped on.
oooh I did not know that was going around again. uh just normal stuff. watching some monty python movies with my girlfriend tonight gotta hit the grocery store this morning for food and snacks. oh my sister and nephew are coming into town monday. looking forward to that.
