So they all sit and wonder
As tears stream from their eyes,
Why did such a perfect person
Have to go and die?
Why did she kill herself?
What didnt she do?
Why did she think that there was no way out,
That her life was completely through?
Little did any of them know,
About that pain that was inside.
The smile she forced on her face,
Just so her feelings, she could hide.
All she ever did,
Was please everyone else,
She just wanted to make everyone happy,
Though she never pleased herself.
She did this and she did that,
Smiling all the while,
Until one day she killed herself,
Ending her denial.
For she had taken words to an extreme
And putting herself aside.
She somehow thought it would be better,
If she just finally died.
For then one day someone was mad,
And at her they yelled,
Maybe then, you should just die!!
JUST ******** GO TO HELL!
So once again she thought shed please,
And so she took the knife,
In one last act of obedience,
She decided to end her life.
Little did this person know,
Of what they had done,
Such is the price of being naive,
Of being so stupid and young.
For kids are so cruel,
And mean not what they say,
Thinking that itll all be forgotten,
With each passing day.
So then you must learn from this,
So it doesnt happen again,
And dont say anything you dont mean,
Especially not to a friend.
Youll end up surprised,
With how much people care,
About everything you say and do,
And words that you share.
And as for the people crying,
They would now never see,
The really wondering and loving person,
That she couldve grown to be..

daddy

Her daddy was special
He was her light
He would come into her room
And tuck her in at night

Sometimes it was late when he came
Cause there mightv'e been a fire
He was always saving people
It was he who she admired

One night he didn't come home
She just waited in bed
When it came to morning she wasn't tired
She was wide awake instead

Her mommy came into her room
With tears on her face
She said her daddy was in the hospital
She said take me to this place

Not bothering to change
They ran to the car
She could not believe
She could lose her only star

He had a machine by his side
Pumping him air
But she went to hold his hand
And she just sat there

She didnt sleep
Nor did she eat
She just stared at her daddy
And stayed in her seat

Her mommy was worried
When her daughter began to talk
Daddy wake up
Daddy go walk

You won't die
Not here not now
God cannot not take you
This i won't allow

Awake from your sleep
Wake up on the count of three
Do it for Mommy
Do it for me

1....2...3

He moved a little
But did not open his eyes
His daughter climbed into bed with him
And she started to cry
An alarm starting whining
And she starting crying

Daddy not yet
You need to open your eyes
Daddy don't make us
Start saying goodbyes

Daddy wake up
Because I love you
He finally let go
And she said she heard an i love you too

On her way home
Her mommy was crying
She was not crying
Inside she was dying

She looked in the mirror
In the back seat
She saw her father and said
He's watching over me
