Ragnarok the Wrestler

Black Wind

As I stand atop this rock,

A wind begins to blow.

I look down only to be in shock,

The memories of the dead begin to show.

I begin to descend the summit,

And then I begin to fall.

I scream for you as I plummet,

Then I say good bye to all...

How foolish I was trying reach the dead,

How I wish I was Icarus with his wings of clay.

My life begins to play within my head,

How I wish I would not die this day.

Just before I hit the spires of stone,

The wind caught me and placed me on the ground.

The touch of the wind chilled me to the bone,

The wind began to speak with a beautiful sound...

"As long as you love me, I will take care of you,

And I will love you until the end of days."

I looked down at the ground and sobbed a reply so true,

"I will love you... Always."

The wind began to blow away,

In fear I shouted to the black wind so free.

"Please tell me your name and stay!"

The wind said to me, "Then I will stay by your side. My name is Courtney."
