Height: 5'11"
Weight: 137lbs

Hair: White

Biography: Ororo Monroe is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesses, all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Her mother, N'dare, was an African princess who married American photojournalist David Monroe and moved with him to Manhattan, where Ororo was born. When Ororo was six months old, she and her parents moved to Cairo, Egypt. Five years later, during the Arab-Israeli conflict, a plane crashed into their home. Ororo's parents were killed, but she survived, buried under rubble near her mother's body. The resultant trauma left Ororo with severe claustrophobia that still affects her today.
Ororo managed to escape the rubble of her shattered home with nothing but the tattered clothes on her back and her mother's ancestral ruby. Homeless and orphaned, Ororo was found by a gang of street urchins who took her to their master, Achmed el-Gibar. Achmed trained Ororo in the arts of thievery and she soon became his prize pupil, excelling in picking both pockets and locks. During her time in Cairo, Ororo picked the pocket of an American tourist. The man proved no easy mark, however, as he was Charles Xavier, a powerful mutant telepath who used his abilities to stop the theft. At that moment, Xavier was psionically attacked by another mutant and Ororo used the opportunity to escape.
Finally, Ororo reached her ancestors' homeland on the Serengeti Plain in Kenya. She was taken in by an elderly tribal woman named Ainet who taught her to be responsible with her powers. Ororo soon came to be the object of worship of the local tribes who believed her to be a goddess due to her gift.
Months later, however, Xavier was left with no choice but to recruit Storm and other mutants from around the world into the X-Men in order to rescue his original students from the threat of the sentient island being known as Krakoa. Xavier explained to Ororo that she was not a "goddess", but a mutant, and as such she had a responsibility to use her abilities to help the world just as she had helped the local tribes. Curious, Ororo accepted Xavier's offer, and was given the codename "Storm".
After many missions, the X-Men were reformed into two separate strike teams, with Cyclops and Storm as co-leaders. Storm proved to be justifiable leader. Her mix of cunning, wit, and trust in her teammates, earned her much respect among the X-men.
Storm has finally returned home to the Xavier Institute, hearing the call for her assistance and skill once more.

Not many things surprised Fran anymore, but.. Seeing eyes of blue on a woman that, in many ways, resembled a Viera was very strange to her. Then again, she was good at suppressing her surprise - she had seen so many things in her long life, that she learned to suppress it well.
She flicked her head, to get her windswept hair back over her shoulder. "There is a tavern near here, by the name of Sandsea. I am to meet someone there, but until then, we may talk". She turned then, and gestured for Ororo to follow.
"I don't mean to interrupt, but if I may.. Could I speak with you?" She was trying to not seem intimidating, but being a Viera, that might be difficult... Be that as it may though, it would help to strike up a conversation - since this woman was new to the area, and would most likely need a guide.
((I'll talk to my Balthier and see if I can get him to jump into the fray :3 ))
The Aerodome of Rabanastre was as busy as the Viera remembered - from the many times her and her former party had traveled there, it seemed to always be the same... Except now that Dalmasca was freed from Archades, and war was just a thing of the distant past, the city was bustling more than ever. The ponytailed viera, known as Fran, stepped down from the Strahl - the airship that her and her skypirate partner, Balthier, owned and traveled through Ivalice with. She had given the Strahl a thorough examination when they landed, not more than an hour ago - and since Balthier had went ahead for supplies, Fran decided that she would do some shopping of her own. She knew the meeting place - at the Sandsea Tavern - but the assigned meeting time wasn't for a few more hours.. So why not? Fran gave a nod to Nono, their moogle mechanic, as a sign of her departure; and at that, she was off.
While leaving the bunker of the Aerodome, Fran couldn't help but notice a small crowd of people near the exit. It didn't seem that they were crowding around anything in particular, but they all seemed to be talking in a hushed tone and looking in the same direction. "I'll admit", she thought to herself, "There must be something of interest to catch all of this attention.. But, unless it is a lead to treasure, I have no interest". Her sensitive ears picked up the whispers of people - saying something about a strange woman.. Dark skinned.. Similar to a Viera? Did this women possibly have Viera blood in her?
Fran spoke to herself quietly. "A hume that looks like a Viera, How strange." While walking close to the crowd, she happened to catch a glimpse of the woman that everyone was talking about. Indeed, she did have the dark skin of a Rava Viera, but she had the white hair of a Veena viera.. And she was lacking the ears, tail, and long feet that Viera's naturally posses. Besides the looks, there was something else strange about the woman - although the humes couldn't sense it, there was a strong sense of.. It felt to Fran like nature clinging to her. It was almost like she was an elemental..
Fran didn't want to be seen staring like the Rabanastrans, but her curiosity was peaked.
((Oh, and before I forget - me and Balthier made a FFXII roleplay guild. You don't have to join, since it's under construction and all right now, but maybe you could give it a look? And if you do join, we are looking for ideas for roleplays - and, if you wouldn't want to RP right away, that's alright too - we are pretty casual. Sorry for pushing this on you too, I'm the vice-captain so it's kinda one of my duties to find people. . ^^;; ))
