About
Well, I'm quite insane. And Very random. I love history, particularly European though there are a couple points in American history that interest me as well. I read a lot, I watch movies multiple times like a madwoman, I'm online far too much, I'm a very large procrastinator, I have very abnormal taste in men, and I hate bright colours. I persist on using the British spelling for many things all through I'm American, my taste in music is very random and all over the place thought it rests a lot with various sorts of rock and show tunes - not limited to that, though. Anything I love I end up rather obsessed with, frankly, my major fangirlism falls in a few vague categories, though, heh.
-Pirates in general: Historical Golden Age of Piracy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain Hook, etc etc etc.
-Phantom of the Opera: particularly the novel(s) but the musical's amazing and the movies all have their charms.
-Vampires: Buffy the Vampire Slayer(*sigh* I miss the Buffyness), Anne Rice, Dracula...it goes on and on and on...
-Sweeney Todd: Stephen Sondheim is brilliant, then Johnny Depp added into the equation along with Tim Burton and just made it even better. Stage-wise I'm more a fan of the revival production than the original, but I have a weakness for George Hearn, so...
-Johnny Depp in general - he's the living embodiment of perfection adding onto the fact he's brilliant and he has my perception of the world, as well. Even if he was hideously deformed I'd love him to undeath.
-Tudor England - yeah, it's a thing. The Tudors naturally tends to catch my attention along with anything about Elizabeth I or Anne Boleyn. They've always driven my interest, for some unknown reason.
-Um...meow. Yeah, saying random words I suppose is an obsession. And adding more, because...well...
-Coffee. I'm a caffeine addict, it's a problem
-Victorian Era in Europe, mostly in England and some of France. I have a bit of a thing for history in general, of course, but currently Victorian sensibilities have been daunting me more than usual, so this deserves a spot. Nooo, (re)reading about Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, Dracula, Phantom of the Opera, Wuthering Heights, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, etc recently has nothing to do with it at all. >.>
-Pretty much the majority of things of the demented or unconventional description interest me, though I can't claim interest in all of it...
