Kaworu didn't want to kill anyone xd He was being used by SEELE. Kind of like how NERV was using Rei.
Anyways, yeah, I have thought of it that way. Maybe that's why Arael invaded Asuka's mind. Just to see how the human mind worked.

I think they could've gotten together. If Asuka would let her wall down or if Shinji weren't so submissive, it could've been possible.
Why do feel sorry for Kaworu? He wanted to die xd .
