Miss Gaia Nations 2011has officially started! Please dress up with your national costume! Remember that it needs to be creative and have a relationship with the country you are representing. Please add a description for the costume; it also counts for this round’s score. You have until December 25 to dress up! Please post on my profile when you are ready. Only 28 lucky contestants will get to the next round.

Here’s an example for this round: Hi! I’m Miss Mauritius biggrin My costume represents the dense forest which makes up most of my homeland. The fishes and plants represent the vast diversity that my home country has, and the umbrella is for the rain! Since there’s several times in the year with high amounts of rainfall, that’s why my island is covered with rainforest. Also, since it’s a paradise island I included a beach to show that it’s a tropical country and that attracts a lot of tourists because of its warm weather. Thanks!
