Hello, welcome to my profile. My screen name is North Sailor. Yes there is a reason. I design boats and have ever since I was in 6th grade. The first boat I designed was called, the North Sailor. Ever since the nickname kinda stuck. You can also call be North for short if you want.I am 18, my birthday in on July 22nd. I am from Virginia, outside of Washington DC. I love just about all artistic stuff, engineering, the ocean, music, sailing, skiing, hurling, cycling (alot), graphic design, animation, reading, and hanging with friends.
I am currently a student at Webb Institute, in New York. It is a small school, so don't act like you know it. There are 80 of us in total. I am also a freelance designer in my spare time, fluent in photoshop, illustrator, inDesign, CorelDraw, Flash, Fireworks, ImageReady, I am a pretty well rounded designer. I have worked professionally for a year in a firm, but decided i needed to explore some more options.
I am also a playwright, yeah, I have three plays written and performed to my name. I am a big theater buff, having directed twice, acted my whole life, served as head technical producer, set designer, costume designer, and producer. I sing, but not tremendously well. I dance, well.
My favorite band is the Beatles, really. I am not one of those people who just likes them; I love them. I have every album, know every song, every word, and have tons of memorabilia.
I am questing for the golden laurels, and have been for a long time. Help me out if you see fit. Otherwise, feel free to leave me a comment. I will respond unless it is stupid.
