Pain was but a distant possibility; in the future will it be a distant memory?

But in the present this tunnel, it is my life’s cold metaphor, dark, the sound of the icy water dripping down the tunnel wall Lower, lower, lower.

There have been others in this tunnel, have they made it out, is pain a distant memory.

Or are they still here? Are they these icy water drops or this wind which howls like a wolf and sends shivers down my spine? Are they all me? Do we or I exist? What are we?

Why are we? Why do we seek out the light? Or life or love? And what are you? Are you here? Are you we? Are you a distant memory or possibility?
