About me

Let's see... About me... I'm not really sure what to say. I guess I'll start by saying this isn't about Niro Solace. This about me is for the kid controlling him. My name is Corey, but most people call me Pooh Bear. It's a long, stupid story, don't ask.

I'm the kind of guy that can't function without music. practically every second of my day is music related, whether it be listening to Explosions in the sky or Sigur Ros as i read comic book, blasting Protest the Hero or Lamb of God while playing video games, or chilling out to Coldplay and Boy Least Likely To while falling to sleep, or writing music for my bands Always the Underdog and AmbulancEcnalubmA music is present almost every waking hour of my life, and i wouldn;t have it any other way.

I'm also the kind of guy who loves being with his friends. I literally (and yes, I'm using literally in the way it's supposed to be used) do not know what I would do without my friends. Family is good, but my friends are like 20 times better and twice as close.

I'm kinda sorta really into comic books. Off beat/gothic/indie comic are my favorites, but when it comes to main stream, DC is where it's at i nmy opinion. The Dark Knight, Death of Superman, Rising Stars, Long Halloween, and Arkham Asylum are my absolute favorites when in terms of Super Hero stuff. The Walking Dead, Lenore, Blue Monday, Bear, Gloom Cookie, Kissing Chaos and anything by J. Vasquez and Ted Naifeh are at the top of my recommendations list.

I'm not too big on video games, but the one's i like, i get way into. I'm more into older games than I am newer ones. My go to consoles are GameCube, PS2, and Gameboy Advance, so I'm currently playing Pokemon Yellow, Zoids: Legacy, Pikmin, Castlevania: Aria or Sorrow and the Heroine storyline in Sword of Mana.

I have the just about the greatest cat in the world. I've only ever heard of a couple cats that are cooler than mine. His name is Ozzy, but lately I've been calling him Buzz, don't know why. I sleep with him every night, chill out and watch movies with him on occasion. It's pretty awesome. He really likes turkey and tomatoes. Never seen a cat eat tomatoes? Have you ever tried feeding a cat tomatoes? That's why. If you have a cat, try feeding it some pizza sauce and see what happens. Do it.
