Hi there! So... my name is Mary. You can call me MaryCarol. You can call me Aidyn. You can even call me MC - as long as it's a term of endearment and not annoyance, I'm cool with it.I'm into:
Performing stand-up comedy, acting, songwriting, theatre, music - rock music in particular, punk culture, partying, drinking, hanging out with friends, random conversation, making people laugh, scriptwriting, working out, computers, web design, talking online, learning pointless facts, road trips, watching movies, snuggling, doing stupid things in public (that really NEVER gets old), and probably a whole lot more. I'm an up-for-anything type of person.
Some random facts:
-I have a tattoo of a 4-leaf clover on my right hip bone, so everyone who sees below that point is "lucky". It was painful; seriously, I almost squeezed my friend's hand off! Still, I want more ink... paradoxical, huh?
-I despise society's beauty ideals for women, and some would call me a raging feminist, but I deny this title, because I shave. (Well, that and I don't think all men should die. See, we would run out of bottled semen and then the whole population would die, too. Save that for the infertile and the lesbians with the turkey basters!)
-While I despise society's beauty ideals, I'm still vain, anyway.
-I <3 pink ties. Hot pink, purple, and black are my favorite colors.
-I love boys and girls. Equally. Uh huh, that means I'm bisexual... it's funny being bi, because straight people still consider it a little queer, yet gay people ostracise you for it, telling you that you can't make up your mind! I HAVE made up my mind... I like both! Why should I have to CHOOSE?
-"Normal" people bore me. People who are afraid to show that they are strange frankly weird me out.
Favorites:
Movies: A Clockwork Orange, Serial Mom, A Walk to Remember, SLC Punk, That Thing You Do, Steel Magnolias, Rent, and anything with Adam Sandler.
TV shows: The L Word, Flavor of Love, Will & Grace, Family Guy, and stupid dating reality shows that are so bad that I'm glued.
Bands/music: There are way too many to list, but to name a few: matchbox twenty, Poison, Alice Cooper, H2O, Sleater-Kinney, Le Tigre, Ani DiFranco, kd lang, Fuel (what happened to them? They were good...), 311, Sublime, NOFX, The Casualties, NUFAN, Propaghandi, In Flames... and I'm probably forgetting lots more.
