Naw m8 reckon your bogans are 100 times more docile than ours. Ours are smashing militias for the civil war they all think is coming against anyone nonwhite and left leaning. It’s a nightmare here rn since Trump. I am still an introvert and don’t leave the house for weeks on end but at least know how people work and think and more importantly, how I work and think. Made life way easier figuring that out. the view from the roof of the building I manage.

It... had like 10 instances of "omg is this happening?" level benefits. Someone sent me pizzas once, I got drinks at bars in my college town (small town with only a college keeping it alive, so all 8000 students were basically only like 50 different friend groups), and a few times I got dm'd to pick some uh ladies uh up that from bars that I had never met, and on some occasions, never talked to before. So it reaaaaaaaally went miles in helping my self confidence and esteem and had long lasting positive impacts on my mental health. 10/10 would recommend.

I played MHW at release but then got a new job and couldn't sit there for 7 hours a day straight learning dragon attack patterns any more.

But then that job got easier after a few years and I did just that in Elden Ring, my first souls game, but man was that game emotionally tiring at times. Like trying to wring out a little bit of happiness from a bloody rag.

My reddit account actually filled the void of Gaia if you check the timeframe. I joined Reddit in 2011 and have been on 11 going on 12 years, and stopped going on Gaia daily around 2010. That ALSO overlaps with twitter tho so it is hard to say. I got small-town twitter famous for a minute in my college city and it absolutely made my weird internet nerd life easier when I went to bars and people would buy me drinks for being the funny internet guy.
