Yeah, I got what I was after and got out. I started my second real grind beginning in 2018 with hell portals. I would sell thousands of them to a friend of mine at the time who is no longer here. I never really got to know this person, but they put a note that doctor told them they had 3 weeks to live. So I made discoveries to how to make a lot of platinum by generating items, then in like 2021 or so they killed my income source. I believe word spread that I could poof katanas and kiki kitties into existence and got back to gaia staff or something. I once poofed a set of djs. Think that was like 1/6000 lunar sky lanterns opened. Been here riding the wave ever since.

Oh, well at the time it would have been very difficult to buy anything because so many users were very wealthy from the gold generators and just waiting for items to be posted. I had a decent item hoard so I would sell one item at a time to generate income slowly while increasing the value every time I re-listed. Being the new monopoly on OMFG Hats I generated enough to buy DJ headphones and then stopped paying attention to the market until 2018. 50x omfg hats are like 70m Platinum now. The DJ Headphones is now is 7m. So if I had simply kept my hoard instead of working towards the Djs I would have 10x the wealth in items. It does make sense that the DJs are so cheap though because there is a daily that gives you the Gifts for a gambler. This Random bundle generator has the chance to be a bundle with a set of DJs in it.

Were you here for the 2012 buy out frenzy in the marketplace? They pumped a ton of gold into the economy so rich users started buying anything and everything as it was being listed.
