When i first cam across your eyes,

they were gleeming in the sun,

i looked upon God for a sign,

and yet i recieved none



I watched, and watched as time moved on,

and i would not, could not dare to say,

that this angel i was starring at,

was clearly here to stay



I loved the way she looked at me,

it gave me strength inside,

this angel God has sent to me,

kept lookin in my eyes



I closed my eyes and took a step,

i pleaded to come play,

with open eyes i surley bet,

that this angel was here to stay
