I'm 19, a sophomore at the University of Arizona (that'd be the one in Tucson, not that Phoenix-based party hive), and am totally not the prime suspect in several poultry murders in the Tucson area. But seriously.Gaming is my one true passion. I started with the Intellvision, was hooked with the Super NES, and have been steadily gaming ever since. Right now I play World of Warcraft. A lot. I have a 60 Night Elf hunter named Kyral on the Perenolde server, who is class captain of the Raiding Jesters guild. We took on Majordomo for our first time last Saturday, took down Ony for the first time on Thursday and we have Hakkar and his priests on farm status. We're also full at this point so don't ask me to get you in. -_-
As far as other games go, my favorites are RPGs, FPSes, RTSes, and platformers. EarthBound, Perfect Dark, Starcraft, Half-Life 2, the Final Fantasies (esp. 6/3 US), the Chrono games (esp. Cross), the Diablo games, and most recently the Ace Combat games...these are just some of my favorites. I like a pretty wide variety of games, though racing games I tend to avoid. Guitar Hero's also something I should mention...I've got 5-stars on every song on Medium, and I've completed up to Crossroads on Expert. Can't wait for 2! ^_^
Let's see, anime...I'm not nearly as well-rounded in my anime diet as I am in my gaming diet. I've only got a few favorite series, most of which I saw on Adult Swim. I also tend to prefer dubs unless they're horrible (i.e. Evangelion >_< wink , but I don't really have a problem with subs. My favorite series would probably have to be Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, because Anavel Gato is the coolest guy ever to pilot a mobile suit. Gundam 08th MS Team is also pretty good. Some others I like...Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Inuyasha (in small doses...series is way too long), Fooly Cooly, and Ghost in the Shell. Series I've seen small parts of (or none of) but want to see all of...Hellsing, Evangelion, Escaflowne, Naruto, and Rurouni Kenshin. There's probably more, but I cant think of them right now.
Let's see, wrap-up...I like action and comedy movies in general. Predator would be my favorite of all time...you just can't beat that badassness. As for music, I mostly listen to rock, of all kinds...I can go from the Beatles to KISS to Weezer to System of a Down without skipping a beat. I also like music from videogame soundtracks (especially the remixed kind from OCRemix) and stuff from anime.
