yeah, i should probably adjust the colour of the background to wash it out more, and make the text darker. or just redo the damn thing entirely, lol. xD

flash player is def the keystone of this website, sadly. the older stuff works a lot better if you have a browser with flash or an emulator like Ruffle. highly recommend. :0

yeah, my gram died in 2012, and she was really the central pillar of the family, so it rocked all of us hardcore when she passed. funny thing, the same day that she passed, it was my friend's birthday and my cat had kittens. twas a weird day. (as for life stuff, i firmly believe we never actually grow up, we just get better and better at faking it. :0 )

aw, thanks! i might rework the profile a smidge, some folks said it was hard to read due to the translucency and colour choice. that said, i agree with you--there's a lot of features that either don't really work properly anymore or are just gone completely. when i left they still had the weird theatre thing where you could watch the duck and cover movie where a dude straight up tackles his girlfriend into a brick wall. xD

i ended up taking Gaia's advice and am currently typing this from an outdated Waterfox browser with flash installed, just so i can (attempt) to play some of the old games once in awhile. it's clunky, for sure, but worth it imo, since if you can't experience the full site on the regular, why bother? i do my best to be as careful as possible, ofc, like how i don't open sketchy sites on this browser (i leave that for Opera or Chrome, lol). i'm lowkey envious that you thought to pop back in, since i wish i had, but 2012 was a ROUGH year for me/my family and i guess it reverberated outward. i had bigger fish to fry at the time. :
