About
Name: Amilya Maeve Dearborn
Occupation: Charms Teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry
Distinctions: Seven NEWTs at Hogwarts and is the great granddaughter of Caradoc Dearborn (Order of the Phoenix I, killed personally by L.Vol). The Dearborns are one of the few pure blood lines that are left and it is likely that the next generation of Dearborns will all be half-bloods. The Dearborns have a famous ancestor, Artemisia Lufkin - the first female Minister of Magic.
House: Gryffindor
Hair: Straight jet black hair, often, but not always, pulled up into a bun
Colour of Eyes: Dark Brown
Distinguishing Feature: Her eyebrows are always slightly contracted, as if she's in the middle of an important scheme. She has a purposeful stride and a commanding presence that gives her a determined air. You'd think twice before quipping around this professor, simply out of the respect you think she might be demanding of you.
Style: Casual Sweats to Boho Chic to Vintage Classy, whatever the occasion may call for. In class however, she is always in formal attire.
Personality: Self-proclaimed nerd/bookworm with a fashion conscience. Good-natured, kind and tactful. She has a rather odd combination of enthusiastic and energetic qualities, and rather dry and cynical ones. Her sense of humour matches these traits, which confuses her students, especially since whoever find themselves caught red-handed while she's in one of her ill-humoured moods, are bound to wish they had never woken up that day!
Wand: 9 ¾ , vine wood, hippogriff talon core
Patronus: A Lynx
Registered Patronus: Y/N
Form of Patronus (if applicable): A Dove

Caption: Professor Reznor & Professor Dearborn are seen here engaging in one of their many dialogues on appropriate measures for student misbehavior. It is said that Professor Reznor has always found his contemporary respectfully at fault for taking little to no measure in addressing the skullduggery and monkey business that are allowed to take place in the school. When asked to respond, Professor D. reportedly stated that she will have to "respectfully disagree. always."
