I'm a 27-year old slack-a** pseudo-genius. I waver between perfect recall and absolute absent-mindedness. I eat like I'm a black hole, I smoke like a chimney. I only drink occasionally, but I'd be a stoner if I could afford it.
I'm currently unemployed, trying to get a facebook game off the ground with a friend of mine. Making the game has gotten me interested in web design, so I've got a million and a half eBooks to wade through whenever I get the motivation.
I was diagnosed ADHD in 1995, took Ritalin for about a year, and then stopped taking it. I've been unmedicated and untreated for 16 years now, so the fact that I'm a slacker is balanced out by the fact that I managed to make it through high school AND college, purely through force of will and intellect alone.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology (I spent four years as an acting major, but I got tired of never doing any acting and having to be around people with the intellectual depth of a tablespoon.)
I harbor secret desires to be a stand-up comedian, a novelist, a screenwriter, a game designer, and a soundtrack engineer (I want to be the guy who decides what songs go onto movie soundtracks and into movies, and edit them in) but I have no idea when I'll do any of those things.
Some people might call me a loser, and by any accepted social standard they'd probably be right, but I've never had much concern for what other people think when I have the option not to. I work my a** off when I work, I believe in the things I believe in VERY firmly. I believe in complete equality, in fairness and justice, in adhering to the SPIRIT of a law even when I can't adhere to its letter, unless it's something I believe to be superfuous or unnecessary. I'll smoke pot, but I won't speed or run red lights, and when I do smoke pot its usually quietly in my own home, and then I don't go anywhere.
