One I've been playing lately is Infinite Space. It's a scifi RPG. Really long (if you grind out the money to upgrade all your ships), with multiple paths to take. However, it lacks a quest log, so if you don't play it frequently, you could lose track of where to go next.
I've heard that the Etrian Odyssey trilogy is amazing. 1 & 2 are hard to find now in stores though. I own the first one, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier is awesome. Has a cowboy, robots, part animal humanoids and more. I love it.
Phantasy Star 0 is awesome. It's a short game though. Mainly a hack and slash and hunting rare items. But it also has WiFi for up to 4 people in a single game.
Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume is a pain for me. It has 3 endings, each being about 8 hours each. It frustrates me. I've gotten to an end fight 3 or 4 times, only to find I wasn't high enough level.
I didn't like Final Fantasy 3. Was too easy for me.
I don't shop often, but their are so many things I want... mainly, a bunch of DS games. What makes it worse, I work in a mall, which has a Game Stop. I already have 2 games I've yet to play and a few incomplete ones.
I need to save better... I just bought some nice earbuds today. They're awesome. Possibly better than my ~15 year old DS-style. I don't really "need" them though. It'll be my last purchase for myself, I think. Until after I get a car.
I'm gonna have to help out with buying groceries, I think...
