Yea..I generally always give my characters extremely tragic backgrounds because that explains them a little more...depending on the situation.
Generally the more I use/love them the more tragic their backstory is

I definitely agree with you
Though I must say for me personally, when I first make a character it's more like basics than anything
Simply because, like people, characters change depending on who they interact with
So unless you use a character quite a bit, you never really know them

But I definitely see how people don't really make characters...human
Even some of my friends really didn't
Or they make them so much like a super hero perfect version of themselves that it's sickening

Haha I mostly want to correct people's writing or..if they make a mary sue it bothers me. Anymore most all backstories are basically cliche in some manner. It's the little things, especially with characters, that make them stand out

I honestly don't really care as long as you're a good roleplayer xD;
Though I must admit I couldn't do Yuri with just anyone
But if we did a onexone I'd let be a girl, guy, or whatever you wanted
It's your character xD; and I don't get why people try to control that

I occasionally have females but it's too easy for them to become me..so I like males.
Plus I can experiment more with them and feel comfortable
