Interview With the Darkness
I am happily taken. My Weaver, my Cleric, and the best friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for your support, and for your continued love and appreciation of me. It really does mean a lot to someone like me. I will always have your back, and do my best to carry you through the parts of life you're finding the most challenging. Best fiends!!
I go by many names here, but the easiest, or the most famous [or infamous, depending on how y'all remember me. Lol] ones are probably Damien, Lord Blackheart, Dante, or Tony Redgrave, due to how often I role-played as the last two back in the early days.
To show y'all how long I been around, I first showed up on scene in 2004, though, due to a mistake I made, back when I was young, and kind of stupid, I ended up getting my original account banned, for using a gold-gain website. The next few accounts I had made after that, I either ended up with them getting hacked into, or I just forgot the passwords to them, since again. I was young, and kind of stupid, so I didn't bother to write that s**t down. I've since learned from this, and have them all down in a notebook for safe keeping.
Lately, I've been showing up as an on and off sort of thing, due to not many of my friends have stuck around, and due to not much here really catches my interest. In fact, I actually miss how much fun Gaia used to be, when we could all gather in Towns, at each others' houses, or garages, and just have a good time making the veiller, or even did some fishing, or hunted stuff in Z0mg to pass the time.
Yeah. Them were great times, but most days, I just lurk about, and wonder just what happened to the awesome world we all had, that was full of flying gift boxes, and we kept rock puppies as pets. Where everything was bright, new, and where friends could gather together and just escape the reality of going to work or going on the computers during class, while the teachers had their eyes off us.
Enough reminiscing for now though, let's try and get to know me a bit more, shall we?
As it turns out, I was born in Clearwater, Florida, raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then moved up to Ontario, Canada, due to we thought there would be better health care, and better job opportunities. So far, it seems the health care is a joke, because while, yeah, we don't got to pay for the most part, we got to wait a long-a** time to get checked in, and then another few hours, just to see what's wrong with us. Job opportunities are harder to come by as well, than many first realize, but hey. Ain't as bad as back where I was at.
I also have ADHD, and ODD, as well as I'm on the Autism Spectrum, diagnosed at three. I don't understand a lot of social things, like what boundaries I've crossed, or even how to read folks' emotions, and tones properly, There's been times when I don't understand what they say as well, which can often cause things to be mis-understood, it can cause fights, and just a lot of un-necessary drama that ain't nobody wants or needs. Not many folks even know how to properly deal with those things, or so I've noticed at least, but all I gotta say is to have patience, try to understand what it's like from our sides, and we might just surprise you with everything that we can do.
That said, I can be rather childish, and even immature at times, but that's just another price of admission y'all are going to have to accept. I've been told I have a real flair for the dramatic at times, which ain't a bad thing, if you know how to use it well enough.
I enjoy honesty and humor as a general side note, as well as I'm loyal to a fault, and will always speak my mind, even if folks don't exactly like what comes out my mouth at times. Not only this, but I also tend to follow what I think is right, which, more often than not, still ends up with me getting the backlash for it, so I guess I can't win no matter what I do, huh? Meh. I'll still keep playing my hands.
I am bright when I need to be, and highly optimistic, my unique views on life even allowing me to see good in what others say ain't there. I'm a punk, and live life on the darker side as well, which, many call a goth. I stand up for the dreamers, and those who want to make the world better for us all, though I don't always agree with the ways others go about doing it, due to I'm part of the LGBTQIA+, or as I like to call it, the Alphabet Mafia [Genderfluid, and Asexual, as well as Aromantic]. Respect our existence, because if you don't, y'all can expect a fair amount of resistance your ways! Ain't the first time I've needed to get on folks about showing a little respect.
I actually love to laugh, and get up to mischief with folks, as well as I love folks who are loyal to me, and if it's genuine, I will then show mine to them in return. I also love things that are dark and spooky, as well as the colors green and purple, and things related to DnD, console gaming, and things that reflect my attitudes on life. I also love art, in almost every sense of the word, so if you want to get into my blackened, beaten heart, just encourage me in any of these, role-play with me whenever possible, or make me bomb-a** art. Lol
That being said though. As much as I love making new friends, I do not accept random friend requests if we have never spoken. I got quite a few trust issues, so I can't always tell who's a bot, who's only talking to me to get into my pixel pants / up my pixel skirt, and who's actually wanting to be my friend. I'm getting better though, thanks to the amazing person listed at the top of this page.
That should be it, aside of this as well. If you want to leave me comments, please make sure it's something more meaningful than just thanking me for buying your s**t, or for telling me I have a cool avatar. I know I have a cool avi. If I didn't like it, or find it to my tastes myself, I wouldn't have saved it as I did. I'll often go back to my older avi designs at times too though.
