i totally agree! pens aren't nearly as useful as penciles ^-^ although here, in the US, we use pencils a lot more, because we're too lazy to use white-out xD i can't even use pen on my homework, because then the teacher goes nuts... however, not all pens are bad! =D i mean, gel pens are pretty awesome, and so are other pens used for drawing ^-^ i guess the only time i really hate pens is when i only have a pen and not a pencil... or an eraser ;-;
i kno, it's annoying when a pen stops working >-< i also don't like it when i'm drawing, and then i pause and this huge blotch of ink forms O-o it's no fun to draw if what your drawing with doesn't work ;-; that's why i rely on mechanical pencils (or erasable (sp.?) pens) for all my sketchies ^-^
