So you want to know about me, hmm? Well, okay, I'm a 29 year old Texan who has lived around the world, and has found only one other place as dear to my heart as south Texas . . . *drumroll please* . . . Japan! When I say Japan, I really specifically mean Kyoto, a city I called home for a year and long to call home again.
I am the oldest of 5 siblings, I have 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. I am an animal lover currently nurturing 2 geriatric cats all over the age of 14 (human) years and raising 4 ferrets -- 2 under the age of 2 (human) year and 2 who have just turned 2 (human) year.
I am an elementary-level school teacher, so you can safely assume I love kids. I love teaching, I find it rewarding and challenging at the same time. I am also a writer and casual crafter as well as a TV/movie junkie. I enjoy many kinds of music, but especially country (NOT country-western, thank you), JPop, Enka, Oldies, 80's, and many artists outside of those genres. I love reading and often don't have enough reading material. I also enjoy video games, especially RPGs and games like Mario Party. I am the 2nd best Scene It player I know -- must bow to my girl Pandaikon, however -- and I love card and board games. I speak Japanese at an intermediate level and am always striving to improve, though it is hard now that I don't have college classes to direct and focus my studies. Finally, I am a HUGE basketball fan -- I really do LOVE MY SPURS!!!!! I also enjoy baseball very much, supporting the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Hanshin Tigers.
